Animal Welfare Auditing
This two (2) day face-to-face trainer led course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to be able conduct an Animal Welfare audit of a meat processing establishment against the Australian Livestock Processing Industry Animal Welfare Certification System (AAWCS).
Animal Welfare Officer Skill Set
This skill set is for the Animal Welfare Officer or company employee who manages the animal welfare team. It is a mix of online learning material and assessment plus a one-day practical workshop on site before signing off.
Beef Specification
This five (5) day face-to-face course is designed to enable participants to work with beef cuts, specifications and cutting lines. This unit is a pre-requisite for AUS-MEAT accreditation Beef Boning Room Standards Officer training.
Chiller Assessment
This five (5) day face-to-face trainer led course is designed to provide participants with the necessary theory and practical skills to accurately to become an AUS-MEAT Chiller Assessor. This Unit is a pre-requisite for MSA Grading.
Meat standards Australia grading
This eight (8) day face-to-face trainer led course is designed to provide participants with the practical skills to accurately assess beef carcases to Meat Standards Australia requirements. Must have completed AUS-MEAT Chiller assessment prior to do this course.
Quality systems accreditation (NPE)
This five (5) day face-to-face trainer led course accredits persons wishing to export beef, sheepmeat and goat from Australia, as a Non-Packer Exporter (NPE). This course is the first step in obtaining a Meat Export License.
Retail ready product specification
This five (5) day face-to-face trainer led course is designed to give participants the skills and knowledge to be able to accurately apply the AUS-MEAT language and to adhere to all relevant standards and legislative requirements to pack retail (including value added) meat products for export.
Sheep Specification
This four (4) day face-to-face trainer led course is designed to enable participants to work with sheepmeat cuts, specifications and cutting lines. This unit is a pre-requisite for AUS-MEAT accreditation Beef Boning Room Standards Officer training.
Standards Officer Training
All AUS-MEAT accredited enterprises must have trained operatives to monitor the AUS-MEAT requirements and ensure capability of maintaining its accreditation. Our training ensures that your Standards Officers can meet these requirements.
