AMIC – Queensland Apprentice of the Year Competition

AUS-MEAT were proud hosts of the AMIC – Queensland Apprentice of the year competition in July 2023. It was a truly memorable day showcasing the emerging apprenticeship butchers passion and enthusiasm in creating products using their fine butchering skills. As the pictures show, they all did a great job and the race for apprentice of the year is wide open
It was a great opportunity for AUS-MEAT to host the event in our newly created state of the art training facility in Murarrie. This facility is purpose built and includes a fully functioning butchers’ room, practical training room and a well equipped classroom that allows all training to occur in the one location.
